MK 412 round

The German MK 412 was a late-WW2 aircraft cannon, a rival to the MK 112 in the same 55 mm calibre.

I have never seen one of the 55 x 205RB rounds, or a picture of one - only a sketch of the case, with measurements attached, and the knowledge that it used the same M-Geschoss shell as the MK 112. With this info, Mick Wilkinson has done a great job of making a representation of the round for me, machined out of solid aluminium as usual. Enjoy!

The pictures are out from the book "Munition für deutsche Flieger Bordwaffen bis 1945" from Franz Petter.
This book include few experimental cartridges.
