model 1915

I just picked this up today, a nice Model 1915 stick grenade. In great condition, little rust and basically complete. Missing the igniter of course, but it does have the original pasteboard charge container. The writing around the base is complete and totally readable.

Probably paid too much, but I didn't have one, and they don't come around all that often. I'm pleased........

Great 1915 stick grenase sgtlynn. That's a variant i'd not yet seen with the stenciling on the bottom of the can and all. I really like the 1915 stick grenades with the ball finial on the can. Great find....Dano

Yes, nice find

You never pay to much for a rare find :tinysmile_twink_t:

(At least that's what I keep telling myself )

not worried

Nah, I'm not worried about it, if I was, I wouldn't have bought it. As you say, they are rare, and I expect even rarer in the condition of this one..... When I started collecting a nice No. 36 grenade was about 10 bucks, now they are 150, so its all relative......... besides, hopefully I can find something to flog to Missingsomething to pay for it!!!!:tinysmile_twink_t2:

very nice,,, very nice indeed, an excellent buy for sure so nice to see them in this condition.

best, nick
