Model tests of the GB-5 Controllable Glide Bomb, US, 1944

This report covers some of the efforts by the US to develop a controllable glide bomb during WW2. Below are excerpts from the 1944 report on tests which involved the use of a 1/5 scale model of the GB-5 controllable glide bomb.

Found the photos you are referring to on page 12 of your excellent photo archive series. Very interesting to see some of the early experimental work in developing guided bombs.
