Here is the container for 36 Teilkartuschen , and inner liner. Dated 1945, this is an early example of recycling. A few of these containers came on the market about thirty years ago, presumably from a store somewhere.
The inner is 8cm in diameter, as would be expected, and shows 12 charges. The labels have been corrected by hand.
All, so far, straightforward. But what did the charge itself actually look like?
