Please see the attached photos. Apparently the only markings are on the fuze, ‘EE-W830 lot 5 71’
I’m guessing it’s 81mm . Any thoughts please?

many thanks, Dave

Could be a spanish 81mm M74 illuminating mortar projectile (I have no docs). Name of the fuze suggests ECIA.

Cheers,

S.

Hello,
This is the fuze, manufactured by spanish ECIA (Esperanza y Cia), model 74, for use in illuminating grenades with a delay of 8, 11, 14, 17, and 20 seconds.
The illuminating grenade is also manufactured by ECIA, model 74.

'EE-W830 lot 5 71'. EE (Ecia fuse), W830 is the factory model code, 5 is the lot number, and 71 is the year of manufacture.

Greeting
Antonio
