Does anyone recognize the paint / markings on this mortar? I'm looking for the country of origin. I figure it is most likely French, but the Brandt design went around the world so unless you recognize every marking it is easy to get lost.

Thanks in advance -

Hello,

This round sounds really french : 81mm FA Mle 32 NX (81mm Fonte Aciérée modèle 1932) filled NX (ammo-nitrate + Xylite)
