NEW TO MY COLLECTION IS THE No2 mk2 PRACTICE VERSION AND A MILLS PRACTICE GRENADE IS IT WW1 OR 2 . HOW MANY OTHER TYPES OF MILLS PRACTICE GRENADES OR DUMMYS ARE THERE AS IVE LOOKED THROUGH OTHER SITES AND SEEN A NUMBER OF DIFFERANT VERSIONS DOES ANYONE HAVE INFORMATION ON THE VARIOUS TYPES

am a tad envious re the No 2.

there were many types of dummy or drill Mills grens. Here are a couple of mine. These are No 5s.

Here are 3 more,

A No5/23 unprocessed body, nothing threaded, a No 36, possibly blacksmith made and an alloy body filled with lead, now somewhat corroded. Then of course there are all the official versions, No 36 Mk 1 Practice, No 36 Mk 11, No 36 M Drill Mk 1, No 36 M Drill Mk 11, No 36 M Mk 1 Instructional[sectioned].
