Herewith a well known picture by french collectors. French soldiers in a trench with strange and unknown stick grenades.
This picture is often considered as a fake or a propaganda for newspapers (early ww1 era).
But today I found a photo of a ww1 grenades display (from a set of original forgotten ww1 photos) with the same device.
So ??!!
