Mystery projectiles

The two projectiles with it, I was curious what they are? As last year I saw an identical pair of projectiles at an antiques fair. I didn't recognise them, so avoided them. But seeing that lot reminded me, and idle curiosity causes me to ask if anyone can ID them.

They are 30mm aden practice rounds (Fired) They are not particularily scarce so dont pay much for them.

Thanks, they just seemed like a really odd design, which got me curious.
As I said, I didn't. The pair I saw were £25 per one, so I didn't touch them. My golden rule of collecting is if you don't know what something is, steer clear!
