Hello, I just acquired this 152 mm case, made of brass, about 101cm long. A real beauty. I think it is a US made one possibly for some French ship, but I am not sure. Can some help me identify it and also provide info on manufacturer?

Thank you Charley 777. The rim diameter is 218mm. Can you tell me more about the markings?

I have seen US made cases from WW2 period before, for large French navy guns. Probably comparable to US made 8,8 cm cases for Dutch submarine deck guns when our subs where fighting in the pacific under British/US control while the Netherlands was occupied and we could not manufacture ammunition.
