In tip offs under German fragmentation + I made comment on the 3in 20cwt and how some with other stuff less driving bands had apparently been in a crane counter balance. Herewith photo of the range of shot and shell excluding the 6in that I am aware of. 3 types of 2pr AA, 3pr, 3in 20cwt, 4inFA & 4.7in, the 2pr all come apart and are empty, the rest are solid so all are totally inert. Anyone else know more of the crane story?

Hey 2pr, I'm not up on the crane theory, but wanted to comment on the beautiful shot of those projectiles. A real assemblage of some great pieces..Dano
