Nb.Hgr.39 smoke grenade stenciling

The lettering stenciled on the "Nb.Hgr.39 smoke grenades" you see it put on in two different ways, one upside down to the other. Different manufactures or what? Also what was used to stencil it, it is not solid paint, but has diagonal lines running through it. I was wondering how this was done.

Hi,, they used a fast drying ink and it is applied with a roller screen printing method..

Thanks for the answer, I was wondering how it was printed showing the lines, guess it was from the screen
