Need help identifying French 87mm shell!

Have this shell, I assume it's French due to the fuze that it's got attached. Online it says the fuze could be as early as 1880, I can't read the writing on the base and it's 87mm diameter. It's walls are very thick at nearly 1cm and is very heavy weighing 7.6kg or 16.8lb. could anyone please shed some more light on the age of this shell etc? And if this is allowed, a value of i was to part with it. Sorry for anything silly as this is my first post ;)

Hello from France,

You have a French 90mm model 1877 common black powder with a T&P fuze model 1880 (25-38mm). Old stocks have been used during ww1.
Exactly same shape for 90mm model 1879 segments/shapnel but as your shell is empty (I assume) and weight 7.6kg I think it's the HE 1877.
Length of these shells : 256mm (8kg 1877 - 8.16kg 1879)

Regards
