A collector friend sent me these two photos to post on BOCN looking for any possible information on it. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

No clue on specifics but maybe have him check to see if it may be cut down. A thick rim, saw marks, etc on the mouth of the case would be a clue. Certainly not of the L60/L70 variety.

THANKS BIG TIME, RICK!

I asked the owner if it was cut down and he said that it was not and that he has sen 3 of these over the years but known could ever ID them.

Thanks big time, Brian! I tried to find information about "Project 6005" with no luck. Grateful for your help. I'll pass it along.

Brian, I can't find my copy of his book. Is there a photo with its projectile?
