Need help with abbreviation, "A.S.A." with reference to UK ammo boxes

In several cases, the abbreviation "A.S.A." is used preceding the nomenclature for UK ammo boxes, for example, "A.S.A. H82 MK1." It is listed in the documents included in the "sticky" for this category, but I can't find what it stands for. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
