I assume this is the correct place for this.

Yesterday I went to a massive antique show and was overrun with ordnance. Being on a schedule, I did not scan as thoroughly as I would have liked to. I cannot imagine what I could have missed.

I walked in the door, and within a few minutes I found the impossible. A german 37mm PAK 36 casing that is trench art, but finding barn-fresh German ordnance is a bi-decade event in my world. And the best part is, I paid only $20.00 for it.

At the end of the first row I spotted this MK II body from 50 feet away; laying on a table, surrounded by items it had no business being within the company of. The dealer had to pry the $6.00 out my hands that he charged me.

Yes, I know. My $6.00 MK II body should be the top story on CNN for the next 3 months!

A few minutes later (after years of searching) I paid $20.00 for the 57mm M70 projectile that was priced at $30.00.

Towards the end, I snatched what apears to be an altered 37mm M51 or M74 projectile. I couldn't leave it behind, being priced at $10.00.

I felt sorry for the 2, 20mm ball projectiles. I spotted them on the floor, hiding in a mess kit. $10.00 for the pair was a fair deal.

As I was walking out the door, I spotted a complete (w/fuse adaptor and fuse) MK 1 HE shell made into a lamp. I was about to pay the $90.00 asking price, but instead I put my remaining funds towards my girlfriend's epic Chirstmas present (that escaped from the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History) I spotted a few tables away.

Enjoy!
