New arrivals

The postie brought me a pkg today with 2 items, a German m1917 egg grenade (yep another one! (love them eggs)) and a 20mm shell. I pictured the 20mm round next to another 20mm projectile and the projectile is quite a bit shorter. Headstamp on casing 43 39 0X0 41. Stamped on the projectile right above the driving band is d 43 888 47 and an arrow pointing upward. Inked on the projectile is 9631 43. There is also a symbol of some sort stamped on the projectile which I drew it and took a picture..Any ideas? Dano

Dano,

that would be a 20x82 "Blind" for the MG 151/20, an exercise round.
The longer shell looks like a shell for the 20x110 Oerlikon. Probably a "Blind" or an b.

greetz,

Menno.
