Current Issue grenade of Russian Federation! The RGN Offensive w/ UDZ-Z fuse. While the bodies aren't too hard to locate, the fuse, is a different matter! Super super hard to come by. This grenade is off the charts cool & tickled to have it!

Hello timmymac,

Very nice grenade, is this a domestic purchase (i.e. did you acquire this privately in N America or on a US site like GunBroker?) The reason I ask is that I have not seen this type for sale on any European site before. I have definitely not seen that type fuse, is there a document or a site I could read the spec on this grenade that you know about which show the other types of fuse that go with this grenade.

Thanks Seawitch

Seawitch there'
s a number o publications out there, however
I refer to and recommend THE GRENADE RECOGNITION MANUEL ; Warsaw Pact. Fantastic reference loaded with info & lts of photos. Ifs author and fellow bocn member, is Sgt. Lynn. Super guy even if he is Canadian!

Well done! As you say, the bodies are reasonably easy to find, but the fuzes are not too common. Definitely on my shopping list, thanks for showing. Cheers

Thanks for posting this diagram Fragman, I've been looking for this one all day!! Found some similar, but this ones my fav. Thanx again!!

Great score Tim. I've been trying to complete an RGO and RGN set for over 10 years without success. Your contacts in that part of the world have certainly been fruitful for your growing collection. Congrats.

Looking at the nomenclature I can see on the fuze, it looks like UDZ. Am I missing the other Z? It's not a straight on shot and was trying to figure out the difference between the UDZ and the UDZ-Z.

Joe

Added a close up of lever nonmenclature. My mistake on description of fuse in original post. Fuse is UDZ-S (not UDZ-Z)
