Tim, thanks for finding that.

It appears that the assembly of No.36 grenade bodies onto centre pieces shows bodies from at least two different makers - or at least two different markings are shown. It suggests that rather than grenade manufacturers making complete empty grenades (as was British practice), they used the same model as South Africa, whereby all components, including the cast iron bodies, were sent to an assembly plant where the complete articles were put together prior to being passed over to a filling plant.
