That should help the auction - nice piece regardless.
 
The only problem was that the fighters could not get high enough to reach the Zeppelins, let alone get above them to drop the darts!

Al that stuff about the"low flying" Zeppelins is a load of rubbish.

I found the piece extremely interesting to say the least. That sectioned bomb would be an important piece of history. With the world revolving around the 2nd World War, it is nice to see writing on The Great War which by the way is closing fast on the 100 year mark. Lastly I don't think I ever read a War article that got all the facts right, that's journalism for you. That is a piece i'd love to call a part of my collection. Nuff said.....Dano
