I see regularly the question for Id of naval mines and from various sources you can get the info but now I've stumbled up on this document with a lot of basic info but for a first glance Id it could be useful.
The credits for photographing this document go to "Grimsby's lost ships of ww1".
It is a document for fishermen what kinds of mines and floats are seen on the sea 1917. Very handy I can imagine while fishing in such dangerous waters.
