No 16 primer,used in Bofors 40mm?

Does anyone know if the No 16 primer was used with the Bofors 40mm?

I ask as there is no flash tube as usually seen on Bofors primers.

Also,what was the No 12 primer used in please?

The No. 16 was used in QF 37mm, QF 2pr Mk 8 & QF 2pr sub calibre.

The No. 12 was used in the 40mm Bofors (amongst others)
