There are several combinations of the 247 fuze components . Here's the main difference between the early unmarked ones , Mk1 & then the Mk2 . The early ones had either brass or zinc alloy pellets with a bifurcated [sheared] needle striker & the Mk2,s have lead/antimony pellets with single point striker . I hope this is of interest to collectors of British WW2 grenades .
