No 29 Plug

Hello,

This Plug is stamped 13 No 29 IF 44 WGS.

Its measurements are listed below.

Length: 13 cm approximately.

Top Width: 6 cm approximately.

Middle Width: 4 cm approximately.

Bottom width: 3 cm approximately.

Any idea what this plug was used in?

Help in identifying the plug would be greatly appreciated.

Transit Plug for shells to be fitted with proximity fuzes. Amongst others, used on 25Pr. What's surprising is the date of 44, which seems very early.
