No. 36 Base plug thresd die

Anyone know where I can get a die nut for Mills no.36 base plugs? It's something like 1 1/4"x 20 tpi, if I remember rightly......

This company in Torquay sells all sorts of taps and dies. 1 1/4" x 20 TPI is listed on their site but says currently out of stock. You could try contacting them and see when they will get any more.

Mine is dated 1944 so they may be a while getting some more.

You can probably cut the thread on a lathe a lot cheaper than buying a die that big.

There is a company in the UK that sells the taps for the No.5 and No.36 grenades... I bought from them and they ship to Canada...
