No.36 Grenade box closure and internal bits



Can someone explain and/or show a photo of how a G36 box was closed at the factory? Were the ropes simply tied at the top? Also, one of my original boxes has two pieces of wire attached to the rear side and I'm curious what those were used for.
This box also includes some loose wood wedges that fit between the grenades (between the grenades at the top and bottom in the third photo) and I've never seen these in any other photos of boxes so I'm not sure how many were originally included. Any ideas?
