:top: i like it ,,i always had trouble making these myself.
Did you cut it by hand ?
 
Much too thick for a propper lever, should be 2.4 MM max i believe. I gather its a bit to difficult to get the sheet metal of the correct thickness these days,
not too hard to grind it down and then age it though i suppose.

The lever is exact the right thickness.
maybe the pic shows not the right dim!

Boome, that looks great! How did you age the metal to get that effect?


Aging as following,

Put the pieces in 30% hydrochloric acid for about 24 hours.
then rinse them with lots of hot water.
after that , outside in the cold nights for a week or 2.
Dry the pieces, put some hairspray on them and here you go.
