Yesterday i saw a replay of royal arc series and they fuzed a live 1.000 Pr bomb with a No 960 fuze with blue base color with yellow markings. I know blue is practice and yellow means contaitains HE, what does mean on a No No 960 Fuze and why loaded on a live bomb?.

Only thing I can answer is that I saw the same combination on French artillery, some years ago, only difference that the shell was also practice.
Blue fuze with yellow marking will say that the fuze contains HE as spotting charge.

Now, why on a live bomb ???

blu97,

What do you actually mean by yellow markings? Yellow band or yellow script?

What episode?
