I found this while field walking today near Plymouth, can anyone help with some info on the manufacturer, the font and layout is also a bit different from others that i have seen. Grenades are not my area of interest so i have little knowledge of these.
Best regards Weasel.
The base plug was made by Patent Die Castings, Willesden Green, London. Unfortunately the grenade manufacturer it was supplied to is not obvious but the 1942 date, combined with the obliteration of the PDC monogram to leave a crescent indentation, suggests either Davis and Brocklesby (monogram VADIS in an oval) or REVO Electric Co (monogram REVO in oval).
