Old 3,7 cm german canister projectile

Hi,

Here is an old 3,7 cm german canister projectile (not common).
It is not mine today but I believe the new owner is on the forum.

More correct; a canister with the upper part of the shellcase around the base :)

There were at least 3 varieties of these made with different materials for the case. I have 2 and have seen the 3rd. Nice find as they are not common, indeed.

The zinc canister you show is different from the model I know (fitted with a base groove and no driving band).

please look at marking on the base, krupp logo. Pictures from this forum, identified as german.
