Old wooden ammo box

Hi,

I've just found an old wooden ammo box in the shed of an elderly friend who wants me to dispose of it. The [legible bits of the] markings read 'BOMBS INCDY, 4LB MK 1 / A /'. Am I right in thinking this is WWII and originally had some of the 'stick' incendiary bombs in it?



The other big question is whether it might be worth something. :wink:

Hi Hugh, You are correct in your assumption. As for a value, assuming its not rotten, £20 would be a fair price.
