This rare cartridge has not much information about it. If anyone knows any good links, I'll be glad to have them.
This particular Balilla https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opera_Nazionale_Balilla youth rifle cartridge belongs to a man in the photo below. I merely took photos. It has a replaceable blank inserted where a primer usually goes. The muzzle of the cartridge (now empty) is loaded with a small projectile (ball?). After firing both primer/blank and the ball are replaced.
