"Orange line" composition

I noticed in the "countrymans diary 1939" that in addition to standard safety fuse and commercial blue sump they describe a very fast fuse called "orange line" a burn rate of 90ft/sec is given along with the statement that its somewhat noisy. The description implies that its the same diameter as standard but with a larger diameter burning core which doesnt appear to equate to taped black match. I think it must contain some form of flash powder but am interested to know if anyone knows any more about the composition/ manufacturer/ commercial? etc

Thanks
