The attatched picture shows 4 2pdr practice projectiles of ww2 vintage. Ive posted these to show how basic and inconsistent paint on British shells can be.All have the correct yellow band but all in different places and 2 have the N for naval and 2 dont. Perhaps thats why you can always tell the repaints as their too good? Perhaps also the type of paint is relevant too? Lead based perhaps.Tony:tinysmile_fatgrin_t
