At high velocity the small 15 grams projectile could penetrate 32mm steel. However effect behind the armor was not much. Has anyone heard or read about any significant damages caused to enemy vechiles in a battle situation with this gun?
I think the damage was secondary as the projectile contained some irritant which was supposed to make the crew abandon the vehicle. If this worked it also was s good tool to capture vehicles in almost perfect condition and potentially reuse them.
