During the Chaco war, Paraguayan Potez 25 used successfully a fragmentation bomb developed by the Arsenales de Guerra y Marina de Sajonia, located in Asunción , under the direction of Commander (Capitán de Fragata) Jose A. Bozzano.
The bombs had a weight 14 kilos 400 grs, and each Potez 25 could take up to 20 bombs of this type (10 under each wing) - their dimensions fitting the Potez wing bombs rack originally devised to carry up to 10 x 10kg French bombs type M or P.
They were called by the appellation "pina" (a Spanish world designating originally a conifer cone, that became widely used to designate the pineapple fruit)

On the last photograph 2 "pina" bombs can be seen in the hands of the soldiers on the left, and what appear to be Cooper bombs in the hand of soldiers on the right.
