Pretty good ordnance collection here at the Paso Robles CA War Museum. I once saw the ordnance coordinator going down the road towing a 750 lb bomb. He told me the police pulled him over after somebody reported him. He now covers his bombs while transporting them and has no more problems. Interesting is the 90mm T44 hyper volicty shell. I have the projectile but no shell.

The museum has the 90mm casing for a T44 but not the right projectile. The T44 didn't have a copper rotating band. Looks like they just mis-marked a T33E7 or an M318 for show.
Museum looks worth a visit despite that.

The museum seems to have some rather odd combinations of color codes on ammunition. Navy ammo with army codes, extra yellow bands on Navy ammo. The word "INERT" in yellow letters on bombs.

Most look like repaints. Nicely done, but part of the problem with repaints, rarely correct or true to the originals.
