percussion fuze id

im away dogsitting so hoping someone can id this by the pictures. Will measure accurately etc later if needed. What looks to be a percussion fuze with a covering of paint. It looks similar to aged red paint found on British fuze adaptors in that its an orange colour. Approximately 1 inch diameter at threads and 2 inches long. It was found in the uk. Could just be a fuze part.

I presumed it's this one, or very close. The diagram was taken from the US Army document 'TM 9-1985-6 - Italian and French Explosive Ordnance (1953)'.
