Early mod with pull wire system ( will be making replacement pull wire and robbing parts from the relics to complete this one)
and the second mod is the Wilhelm variant with screw cap and weight system.
Both types were not in service for any real length of time, hence their rarity.
The early model had a red practice can on it when i received a few years ago,, the other was just the handle that arivved this week.
After some research i found that the Wilhelm model used the large can type, if you have the Patrice Delhomme book is shows these with the large can with fold over tabs on the top..
these dont fit, the thread opening is to large, tried these :tinysmile_hmm_t2:. The earlier model uses a thinner can like the M1916 hgr.. A bit confused there I did have these cans, both large and with smaller thread size and fit perfectly :tinysmile_twink_t2: these will do until I find the correct cans for them,
