I bought this single bookend, there was some kind
of fuze in it, stuck in. After removing old hard putty !
this is what I have :tinysmile_hmm_t2:

The cap is marked; No 14 MK3 , letters P D inside a large letter B /c
Fuze is marked; NCR/C

I haven't seen a flat topped cap like this before.

Hello,
For the cap I don't know, the fuze seems to be an incomplete No222 with top part unscrewed.

Regards

NCR/C - National Cash Registers, Canada.
PDB/C - P.D. Bates of Canada. (I need to check).

The cap is either very late WWII or post-war.

A close up of the P.D.B/C would be appreciated.

It's not dated & no lot # so I doubt it was filled. The bottom is empty also.
The cap isn't marked all that clearly stamped. Obviously nothing to do with
the fuze that was in it.

If any one can use the cap or partial fuze I need a few 18pr case primers and will trade.
