Pig Stick

Here are some cartridges - cropIMG_5613.jpg
From the left - The first two a C.E.R.U. 204 (Cartridge Ejection Release Unit) an RAF store and the "parent" cartridge for subsequent injector carts.
The next two are "Cart Circuit Breaker, EXPTL Type 1 X.L.1E.1" These are very early cartridges as Pig Stick was only used operational in about August '72
The fifth cartridge is dated '74.
The sixth is an "L2A1" Cart Injector and is the cartridge that would be found in the box shown below.

The contents, like yours, were manufactured by AP - Astra Pyrotechnics. What puzzles me is the presence of the violet strip (I'm aware of its meaning, it just doesn't maker sense). Additionally, the "National Carriers" sticker - the cartridges are greater than 1" in diameter, thus possession requires an F.A.C. So I'm intrigued as to the legal position of the couriers.
