Belgian used the same canister shot ("boîte à balles pour canon de 5.7cm") but with another case (as far as I'm aware 57x224R).

Argentina used also a similar for 61mm Nordenfelt gun (longer shell).
Hi Condor, could you re-measure the shell case including the rim diameter? I have no idea what it is, maybe if I am able to identify it can set you on track for the ID of the projectile. In which country did you find it?
