This piece is from work (it has been destroyed long ago)
I still happened to have the picture on my phone.
At the time, no one could say exactly what it was, perhaps you can help.
It was in a bomb crater with a few aluminum aircraft parts and a lot of other junk from the time.
Basically, everything that could be disposed of most easily after the war; there were more than enough bombs and shell holes in Germany.
Is it a smoke or flare signaling device that pilots carried?
