Pointed cap ID

Another one of those things that I've been trying to ID for years.

96mm at the base, 128mm tall. No markings visible. Thick steel so quite heavy. Anyone any ideas? TIA

Unknown nose cap

Can anyone identify this nose cap. Its 95mm diameter and quite thick walled, almost 1cm. Although its threaded, there don't seem to be any lugs or flats for a spanner. Fred

That is definitely the same Allan. I must have been away at the time of that original post, many thanks. Anyone missing a Rapier Missile nose cap!!

I agree, it looks like part of a Rapier Mk1 Missile warhead to me.
