RIP
Pictured are my 2 U.S. practice lemon grenades. These are actual practicu units (not the surplus circuit junk you see for 8.00). The olive drab on left has wear on paint and practice blue can be seen underneath the paint. Anyway the olive drab one has threads in the bottom hole, while the blue one does haave the bottom hole but it is unthreaded as one may suspect. Any ideas on why the bottom hole of the olive drab one is threaded? The second picture shows the bottom threads. Was it threaded for a plug of sorts. One suggestion is that it may have been an M50 but we kind of ruled that out. One thing I know is I need a couple of correct spoons. I am real curious about this one. For some reason (I seem to be an oddball collector) I like the practice grenades better than the once live counterpart (maybe because I don't have one!!). But even with the baseballs, I seem to like the M69 moreso than the M67. Weird? Yes I guess it is, but that's me...........Dano
