Pre-War German 37mm Pak 36 Casing Headstamps

These were all found together in Russia. The primers are no longer live. Many have the same P131 number and are dated 1936. Does P131 designate the manufacturer? Also, I note these have an "*" after the 6331 case design number; does anyone know the meaning of that symbol. Another of the cases has a star after the 6331 number. Many of the composite steel/brass casings were found in this lot also. One brass casing does not have a date.

Thank you in advance for your comments.
