Projectile found Lybia

This projecile has been found in Lybia, according the person who found it, it has a diameter of 70mm and lenght 300mm, someone any idea...???

When i look at it then i think its Italian 75 mm HE.

I have got better pictures of the projectile and it has defnitely 75mm diameter and not 70mm.

Yep, Italian 75 mm HE with fuze M10.
lenght with fuze 319mm

Driving band

Alpvogt,

I had a good look at the photo and saw that the grooves in the driving band go to the left. Normally the grooves go to the right.
Do you or anybody else has an explanation for that?

When I look in our collection can't find any projectile that suits your projectile.

The only reason were I can think about is that the photo's were scanned negative !!!!
