Projectile on Ebay

Hello All,

I came upon this projectile on Ebay, and need help identifying it.

Per seller, these are the stampings

SEMI-A
12 & 14 P
V.S.MES 7-10-18
OT 75
C.P. 2537

it's approx. 3" diameter at the base

Thank you in advance for any assistance.

I'm guessing it's a 75mm, and if so, not what I need.

I have a 3" model 1903 seacoast casing to fill and this looks close.

By the writing it appears to be for 1918 dated British 12 and 14 Pounder bag loaded or semifixed case guns. VSM is Vickers and Sons Maxim (British). It isn't U.S. and it has no crimping grooves to go in a U.S. Seacoast gun case. 12 Pdr guns were 3 inch dimeter bore.

Thank you very much HAZORD,

Very helpfull, no need to bid on that projectile.

If someone is interested, I can provide the link to listing.
