Isn't that the Bofors mark? I am sure I have seen it (or something similar) on the base of one of my 40mm Bofors cases.

Isn't the bofors mark a B with horizontal arrow through the middle
if I'm looking at this one at the right angle it looks like a U with upside down Y in the middle. The closest I can find googling is some South African markings.

It is not Bofors, but it is Swedish (ADK).

Now that I am home, ADK means Armé Depot Karlsberg.

Here's a close up of the marking on a case. It's found with and without the letters 'ADK'
