Prototype Rocket head ?

I obtained this a short while ago. It was apparently sold at the War & Peace show around 2010.

It seems to be made of a high quality blackened steel. It breaks into 3 parts with the nose being loose as though it should be spring loaded. The tail screws in. It is 16cm long with a diameter of 8 cm. On one side is a reference number H 74796 and possibly V33.

The nose piece has three holes, the outer two possibly being for a tightening tool. The tails has a central hole with four holes of one size and 3 smaller holes - probably for wiring.

Any ideas?

John
